I'm excited to unveil my new site, which will serve as a base of operations for my various coding projects, especially TaskStep, an open source, PHP-based, GTD-inspired web application. Version 1.0 will be online soon!

I decided to power this site with Drupal 6.1, which is the latest release of this awesome, open source CMS. Since the 6.x series is barely a month old, there is still a deficit of available modules for the new version, but more than enough core functionality to get a site up and running. And why not be on the cutting edge, right?

This really puts things in perspective. I've always tried to stick to Microsoft. I even tried Open Source options but still feel more comfortable in an MS environment. I’m currently employed as software engineer on MS Visual Studio.
